Photo & Video License and Usage Policy
Version 2026-10-25.2 · effective 2026-10-25 · KONAH Media Group LLC
Who owns KONAH listing media, how you may use it, the website showcase and how to opt out, and what edits and AI labels mean.
Who owns the media
KONAH Media Group LLC owns the copyright in the photos, video, drone footage, floor plans, 3D tours, reels and other media it creates, including raw files. Media made by KONAH Creators on KONAH jobs belongs to KONAH too, under their contractor agreement.
Media you upload yourself (for example in You Record, We Edit, the Brand Kit or AI Social) stays yours. You give KONAH permission to store and edit it to provide the service.
Your license
When KONAH delivers media, the client who ordered it gets a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use it to market that property and their own real estate services: the MLS, listing sites, social media, print, email, their website, their KONAH property website and their KONAH agent portfolio page.
The license belongs to the client account that ordered the media. If someone else (a seller, a co-listing agent, another team member) wants to use it, ask KONAH and we'll tell you what's possible.
What the license doesn't include
- Selling, sublicensing or transferring the media to another agent or business, or letting another agent use it for a later listing of the same property, without KONAH's written permission.
- Using it for a different property, or editing it in a way that misrepresents the property.
- Using a person's image (for example a headshot or a talking video) for anything other than that person's own marketing without their permission.
Headshots and brand sessions
Headshots and personal brand media may be used by the person shown for their own professional marketing, under the same license. Anyone else who wants to use them needs that person's permission and KONAH's.
Lenders, title companies and co-marketing
A lender or title company that wants to use listing media needs KONAH's written permission. Co-branded media is booked as its own order where each side pays its fair share, as described in KONAH's RESPA & Referral Guidelines.
KONAH's own use and the website showcase
- KONAH may show its work in its portfolio, on konahmedia.com and on social media.
- The website's Recent work showcase only uses deliveries whose clients left "Feature on konahmedia.com" on, waits at least a day after delivery, shows the cover photo only, and never shows the address. City pages only show photos from orders in that city, captioned with the city, never relabeled.
- To opt out, untick "Feature on konahmedia.com" (Website sample) on the order in your portal, or email [email protected]. The photo leaves the showcase right away.
Photographers' portfolios
KONAH Creators may show finished images in their own portfolios with a KONAH credit once the listing has been published, unless KONAH or the client asks them not to. Ask us and we'll pass it on.
Edits, AI and labels
- Editing may tidy a room by removing loose personal items and light surface mess. It never adds, removes or changes permanent features of the home and never hides damage, stains or wear.
- AI-decluttered copies carry a "Digitally decluttered" tag in your gallery, and virtual staging is labeled as virtually edited. Many MLSs have rules about edited photos; following your MLS rules is your responsibility.
- AI-generated reels add camera movement only and don't change what the property looks like.
Privacy of occupants
KONAH avoids photographing personal items that identify the people who live in a home. If you see one in delivered media, tell us and we'll remove or crop it.
Reporting misuse
If you see KONAH media used without a license, or your own work on a KONAH page without permission, use the request form at konahmedia.com/legal/request or the Copyright & Takedown Policy.
