How to ask KONAH for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion or an opt-out, how we confirm it's you, and how long it takes.

Who can ask

Anyone whose personal information KONAH may hold: clients, sellers and occupants named on orders, people who received a KONAH Hello video or a quote request, people in an agent's contacts or texts, homeowners shown in KONAH Prospect, vendors, applicants, team members and visitors to konahmedia.com. You don't need an account.

If your information is in an agent's KONAH CRM, KONAH holds it for that agent; we'll pass your request to them and help them answer it. Homeowners can ask KONAH directly to be added to its organization-wide do-not-contact list.

What you can ask for

What KONAH does and doesn't do

How to ask

Signed-in customers can download their data or delete their account from Team & Account → Your data at any time, without asking anyone.

Anyone can use the request form at konahmedia.com/legal/request or email [email protected]. Requests made while signed in to your own account are confirmed right away.

Verifying it's you

To protect you, we confirm requests by sending a one-time link to the email address the request is about. Your request starts once you click it. We'll only ask for what we need to confirm it's you.

How long it takes

KONAH answers within 45 days of receiving your request. If we need more time (up to 45 more days), we tell you why within the first 45 days. You get a reference number (PR-…) and an email when it's done.

There's no charge for a reasonable number of requests.

What we may keep

Some records have to be kept after a deletion request, for example order and payment records needed for taxes, accounting and disputes, and records that show what you agreed to. We remove your personal details from them where we can, and we'll tell you what we kept and why.

Team member and contractor accounts are closed by the owner so job and pay history stay intact.

If you disagree

If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or writing to [email protected] with "Appeal" in the subject. We answer the appeal in writing. If you're still not satisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

Authorized agents

You can have someone else make a request for you. We'll ask for proof that you authorized them and may confirm the request with you directly.

No retaliation

Using these rights never changes your prices or the service you get from KONAH.
