Getting around.
I-70 runs east to Frederick and west toward Hancock, and I-81 runs south into West Virginia and on to Winchester. From Northern Virginia the usual way is I-270 to I-70, or US 15 through Leesburg and Frederick. Snow tends to arrive earlier and stick longer here than in the DC suburbs.
